Frequently Asked Questions

How will executive psychiatry help me perform better at work?

By diagnosing treatable conditions (mood, anxiety, ADHD, sleep), optimizing neurochemical and lifestyle factors, and combining targeted treatment with coaching to restore focus, decision‑making, and resilience.

Will treatment affect my judgment or ability to lead?

Treatments are tailored to preserve and often improve cognitive clarity and functioning; medications are chosen and dosed to minimize sedation or impairment while maximizing performance.

How often will I need to meet, and how long are the appointments?

Meeting frequency is individualized. Initial evaluation is 60 minutes; follow-ups run 30–60 minutes. If medication is started, the first follow-up is typically within one month, then every 1–3 months based on response and monitoring. Executive coaching is offered weekly or biweekly and can be scheduled separately or combined with medication‑management appointments when patients are on medication.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes, but there is value in meeting face-to-face at least initially. In‑person care is required in the event genetic testing is performed, vital signs must be recorded, a urine drug screen is needed, or medication samples are provided. Follow‑ups may be a combination of in‑person and virtual visits. If you’re seeking executive coaching only, sessions can be conducted entirely virtually.

Do you accept insurance?

No, but we do provide an invoice with necessary billing codes for you to submit to your insurance for possible out of network benefits. Executive coaching is typically considered a business expense.

You don't have to manage this alone.

Let’s restore your clarity, resilience, and leadership together.
